In 2003, Justin Sherwood and his family came to Southern New Mexico to visit relatives. They absolutely fell in love with Las Cruces, El Paso and the surrounding communities. The weather is gorgeous, the people are friendly and the food is delicious. So, through a rapid chain of events, they found themselves calling this beautiful part of the southwest “home”.

Shortly thereafter, with a pocket full of ambition and a cabinet in the back of Justin’s’ pick-up truck, Sher-Wood Cabinetry was born. Justin drove around to job sites and gave his pitch to anyone who would listen. He knew the talents and capabilities that he had and wanted to share. It wasn’t long before Justin found himself very busy, and providing many builders and homeowners with beautiful cabinets and counter tops. In just a few short years, Sher-Wood’s cabinetry, counter tops, flooring, and closets have become an integral part of the southwest building community. They have grown from a small, humble corner of a borrowed office to a premier showroom in Las Cruces and they are serving the El Paso area as well. Although the company continues to develop and change, one thing will always stay the same: the foundation of Sher-wood is built on SERVICE, VALUE and PRIDE.
